Lisa Graves Speech Therapist

Lisa Graves is an educator at heart and has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her graduate degree from the University of Redlands in Southern California. She has experience in various settings and has worked in private practice, schools, home health, and hospital settings providing acute, inpatient, and outpatient care. Lisa is a well-rounded therapist with extensive experience, which translates into a knowledgeable approach and excellent care. 

 

Lisa brings authenticity and enthusiasm to her treatment sessions, connecting with clients and creating a space for her clients to feel empowered and valued. Her mission is to provide research-driven therapy that is always engaging and functional. She is passionate about helping people communicate and provides clients with practical and valuable strategies that are easily incorporated into everyday routines. Lisa believes there is nothing more important than being able to interact and connect with others in meaningful ways. Communication and social skills are the foundation for building relationships and engaging with the world around us. Lisa wants all her clients to find their voice and to feel confident. 

 

Lisa knows that strong relationships and personalized care are essential to achieving positive outcomes for her clients. Her collaborative approach aims to connect families to community resources and create open communication lines with other allied professionals involved in a client’s treatment. 

 

In her free time, Lisa is a mom and huge sports fan who enjoys watching her family play baseball. She loves spending time with her family and three dogs, reading, exercising, and scrapbooking.
