• Topeka and surrounding areas

 

These are full-time positions where you work in the clinic, at‬ schools/daycares or in the home setting.‬

Speech Solutions is a locally owned and growing private practice in Lawrence, KS offering‬ ‭speech and occupational therapy to pediatric and adult clients in Lawrence and the surrounding‬ ‭communities. Responsibilities‬

• Conduct client assessments as needed to determine individual needs and develop‬ ‭personalized treatment plans‬

• ‭Implement effective interventions for children with speech and language deficits‬

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients‬

• Educate clients and their families on techniques for improving communication skills‬

• Maintain accurate and detailed client records‬

‭Qualifications‬

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology‬

• Certification of Clinical Competency‬

• Valid state licensure in Kansas as a Speech-Language Pathologist‬

• Ability to connect well with clients‬

• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills‬

• Strong time management and organizational skills‬

• At least one year work experience as an SLP is preferred‬

• Experience with feeding and sensory interventions preferred‬

• Understanding and implementation of evidence based speech and language interventions‬ and treatment modalities‬

• Experience with AAC devices and assistive technology is a plus‬

• Experience with orofacial myofunctional disorders is a plus‬

• Experience working with adults is a plus‬
