Job Type: Part-time (flexible hours)

Work Location: Lawrence and surrounding areas (services may be provided in the clinic, at schools/daycares or in the home setting)

Pay: Depends on experience

 

Speech Solutions is a locally owned and growing private practice in Lawrence, KS offering speech and occupational therapy to pediatric and adult clients in Lawrence and the surrounding communities. Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments as needed to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans

• Implement effective interventions for children with fine motor, sensory regulation, and self-help deficits

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

• Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving daily living skills

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

 

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy

• Valid state licensure in Kansas as an Occupational Therapist

• Experience working in pediatric settings is a plus

• Ability to connect well with clients

• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

• At least one year work experience as an OT is preferred

• Experience with feeding and sensory interventions preferred

• Understanding and implementation of evidence based occupational therapy interventions and modalities

• Strong time management and organizational skills​
