Speech Solutions is a locally owned and growing private practice in Lawrence, KS offering speech and occupational therapy to pediatric and adult clients in Lawrence and the surrounding communities. At Speech Solutions, it is our mission to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients by providing highly effective, research-based therapy services to children, teens, and adults. Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certification of Clinical Competency
Valid state licensure in Kansas as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Ability to connect well with clients
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
At least one year work experience as an SLP is preferred
Experience with feeding and sensory interventions preferred
Understanding and implementation of evidence based speech and language interventions and treatment modalities
Experience with AAC devices and assistive technology is a plus
Experience with orofacial myofunctional disorders is a plus
Experience working with adults is a plus
