Makaila is an occupational therapist with experience supporting children with a variety of diagnoses and their families. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Baker University and a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University. Before beginning at Speech Solutions, she previously was working at her father’s business called R.I.C.O’s Services in Topeka, KS. This business is a community service provider where she provided day and residential services to adults of various ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Makaila’s real passion is working and teaching kids to grow and develop the necessary skills they need to be successful in everyday life. Makaila is excited to work with you and for her new opportunities here at Speech Solutions.
